Was filling up a gas tractor with one of those piece of sh%t new containers with the spill proof top.
Well it broke. Had to take it off the container and spilled gas everywhere.
I have never had problems with the cans without these damn things.
So the frickin government is worried about me spilling a cup or two on "my" property, while 1/2 the Gulf is dead or dying.
Just really got pissed. Rant over.

I hate the damn things too. I think the answer is to have a funnel handy and pour without a nozzle.

I have searched high and low for these things.
You would think that the chinese would be capitalizing on this. I would gladly pay to get the old nozzles back.
I didn't know they were going to be gone, until they were gone. Arrghhh!

I never had a problem with my existing ones either. My friend bought a new type and tried to screw a nozzle from an older one on but no dice. They changed the threading.

The sollution to your woes is painfully simple......register as an international corperation and you can do whatever the frack you want with the full force of the legal system behind you.

I just had this exact same experience the other day. Used my friends can, brand new, and it broke and would not come out at all. Had to take the top off and pour sideways into my mower.
All hail the quality products produced in China and consumed by Americans. I have noticed this everywhere actually. Plastic wrapping on stuff used to come off in 1 piece, now it peels like a banana in 20 little slivers. The Yoplait yogurts have an aluminum foil type top. They used to come off very easy in 1 pull. Now they break into 10 different pieces to try and peel and remove. I mean, now the crappy package used to wrap the crappy product, isnt even crappy enough to stay together.

If it was a Blitz gas can with the green safety thing on the top, it can be modified by removing the green piece and removing the spring and valve pieces underneath of it. You need to keep the white valve piece, wrap some tape around it and put it back in the small hole at the top where it came out of but leave enough room so that you can pull it out to release the vaccume.
I tied a piece of string to the valve piece and then to the handle so I wouldn't lose it.
It's better than throwing it away.
