Good message: Debt is Slavery.

Too bad most people that can't stand the banking system keep feeding them interest payments!! Duh!

It all ties back into our entitlement culture. People feel they are deserving of the finest things life has to offer. They've been conditioned since WW2 to believe that every generation gets it better than the preceding generation.

Exacerbating this is the fact that the gubmint and the corporations, the entities that lead by example, are making it so that people feel justified in not paying their debts.

A common thought these days is, "where's my bailout? i'll just create my own by not paying my mortgage or defaulting on credit cards."

Well guess what. This isn't 2007 anymore. Walking away from your debts DOES HAVE CONSEQUENCES.

Only if you're stupid and/or careless.

The StarTribune article you posted? It has to do with IGNORING COURT SUMMONS, not being in debt. If you respond to any court summons over any matter, debt included, you avoid default judgment and subsequent bench warrants when you further refuse to defend yourself.

And if the bankster terrorists continue to harass you beyond your ability to handle it, use the nuclear option of Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy.

That's what this prick is saying: that those in debt need to keep paying because "they're causing the bailouts."

Once you've realized your grave error, STOP.

She was arrested for failure to appear. If you are served then simply show up and ID yourself and say nothing else. Smile in their stupid fat faces and leave when it's over.

*and I say don't use bankruptcy unless they are going to take your house or something. Hold on to BK for something really big. Like say you get cancer and big pharma wants to cure you for a few million. Then you declare BK.

**I think a lot of people probably declare bk and then get sick from the stress of the whole matter, then rack up a ton of medical debt that they can't pay. Yeah, yeah, sorry mamboni. :-P
