back in about 2002 i had a learning experience about getting oil in your eyes.

there was a nice big storm in San Diego - first rain storm of the year.

what happens with first big rain-storms is they wash all the crap off the roads and into the local beaches.

not knowing that, i went out swimming because i like big waves.

just from the small amount of oil washed off the roads - Jesus my eyes were inflamed the next day.

there's a hell of a lot more oil in the Gulf than there was in the ocean that day day in 2002.
