View Full Version : The Member Trading area here is lacking!

I know since I just put up a listing it might appear that I have a conflict of interest.

Anyway, the market area here is in need of a bailout it seems. Over at Realcent (and I know this isn't Realcent ::) ) people were always buying, selling, trading, and even lending. There were always multiple competitive auctions going on at the same time. Now I know that Realcent has approximately 300 more members, but there are only about half of the members we have online here, at a time.

I think we need to get people to put up some weekly auctions here to bolster our market.

Oh, another problem I see (and I hope I don't ruin any trust by saying this) the 3rd rule of the market area just discourages people from listing. I believe that someone isn't providing a honest description then they shouldn't buy from them.

JT? if there is no problem here then why create a problem?.......is ok to talk and discuss the market .........but........play in the market? now days only an IDIOT would play with what they will need in the near future..........

Sometimes people need to get cash for (not so urgent) emergencies. I know my emergencies are more like I spent to much money on silver and decide I NEED some records. It is helpful for everyone if there is a developed market in case someone does need cash.

I think the "market" you're referring to is the GS-US Buy/Sell Section here??

This is a paranoid persons AA club here.

You can't expect these people to send a grand to someone who they never met. Paranoids just don't do that! :sarc:

BTW: What are you selling?

I had up some silver bullion, but had to take it down due to having no pics up. I will re-post the listing tomorrow, or when I get back from vacation.

Hate to say it, but post it on GIM2 and it will be gone in a couple days at most. I posted some silver sale here and nada. Not one inquiry other than "post a picture or your post will get deleted". Nobody here has any money, or nobody here has any trust, or something else, not sure. Same ad same deal 500 OZ silver moved in a week with no problems, all good deals on that other board. I don't bother going there as there is nothing to read and it's all kinked up, but they got some paper for money over there if you need to convert.
