I didn't like the silver triangles, in terms of investing, because of concerns about their re-sale.

But I think these NTR 1 ounce gold mini-Castings are pretty interesting. From the Provident Metals website -

They're $21 over spot, 1233.25 when spot is $1212 ish.

For the money, I think the Pamp Suisse 1 ounce is a better idea, because the NTR triangle requires a knowledgeable buyer.

For example, if you're doing a sale on Craigslist, and dealing with a less knowledge-able buyer, I think it is better to have that assay card.

Those are $34 over spot.

But if your goal is just to book some gold at the lowest cost possible, then those triangles are kind of cool.

I wouldn't buy any of them, at first appearance, they look counterfeit :D

The perth mint does 1 oz castings that are square but basically the same sort of rounded face to them. I quite like them. I don't think the premium is any higher than the struck bars they do. I have one of those as well. I think the little castings are an easier conceal than the carded bars but I do wonder about selling them but I'm not particularly interested in selling anyway.
