Scopes for a Vector AK47

I heard that the Vector AK47 is incompatible with certain mounting options for scopes, red dots, etc.. Can anyone recommend a way to mount optics on there?

If there is no side mount, there is another type on cheaperthandirt that replaces the recoil spring cover and has a rail right on top of the gun. You can look through it to use the iron sights as well. Don't know if it will not fit a vector but worth looking into.
