I'm pretty sure 99% of the people here have seen this video, but I just watched it again, and when it got to 1:18 I said, "OH SHIT, NO WAY". Did a quick search and sure as heck, it's CHP.

They called in cops from all over. There is another vid where they rough up an old lady. Pretty sure those were cali cops as well.

Yeah Wildcard, what you posted was a part of the video I posted.

Here's my concern, most officers rarely know the laws of their own state, so how can they be cops in another state with different laws. And in fact, how can they have jurisdiction in another state, don't they have to be deputized or something?

Our local search and rescue team felt like New Orleans wasn't that great of a place so they brought armed City of Phoenix police officers (who had been deputized) with them to protect the crew of Phoenix firefighters that were deployed to work in the craphole we know as New Orleans. Due to the feds being morons they were given the boot.
