View Full Version : So happy to be here

Well I finally made it. I was giving GIM2 a chance and I really didn't think this forum would take off (sorry, my bad). I didn't think about this forum very often. So I've spent the last few months missing you guys and getting more and more disenchanted with the other forum. Then on a whim, I surfed over here and saw all the old familiar names and I almost started crying right here at my desk I was so happy. Well I've dried my eyes and I'm back to being a man. It seemed like it took forever to get my application approved but it was only a couple hours.
Anyway, it looks like I've got a lot of catching up to do. I hope you all can welcome a prodigal son.

Welcome to the forum!
Were you, perhaps, member "Blue Horseshoe" on GIM1?

Thanks.
Nope I was always Horseshoe3. I joined in Jan 09 and had about 600 posts. Not a real heavy poster, but I read a lot.

Cool. In any case, hope you like this place - it seems to be an acquired taste for some! ;D

Not at all. I'd lurked here for a few days in early April, but back then it seemed that it was just a site dedicated to trashing GIM2. I figured if it was going to be just a one trick pony like that, I'd stay away. I'm so glad to find out I was wrong. I'm already kicking myself for not staying here or at least checking back sooner. You all have done a really good thing here and I hope I can be a productive member.

I can understand that and to each his own.
I'm Horseshoe3 wherever I go online. Makes it easier to remember my login. Also, if I have any cyberstalkers, I don't want to make it too hard for them to follow me around.

Actually, I've heard quite a bit about you. You were already gone from GIM1 before I got there, but you had definitely made your mark. ;D

Actually TA, hogs are very smart and clean animals (they will collectively restrict themselves to defecating in only one spot if there's enough room for them to have a specific spot to do so which they are not crowded into), in fact definitely cleaner than dogs, and I can tell you from experience pigs are NOT 'happy' when forced to live in sh*t.
So I take it you must not be very happy.

Welcome to the party. I wonder how many defectors we have going the other way. I would guess not as many because the barbed wire isn't pointed inwards over here.

Welcome and remember.
1 - Don't take things personal
2 - There is REAL freedom of speach here, some good and some bad
3 - More importantly have fun

Congrats on coming here!
Now you can relax and not worry some mod won't get a wild hair up their ass and ban you for no reason.
The mods are reasonable good guys here.
If you can tell only half the truth, you're not getting truth.
Everything must be on the table to discuss.

Not many if any. It's pretty dull over their - everyone walking on eggshells. This is a much more happening party.

Is this something to worry about, TA? "Only the Best" call GS-US home? Is this site riddled with cops?
