Sorry Bullfrog, local unrest interesting to follow. Basically, OPD, and other agencies, localized the protest to downtown. They did a great job, not inciting the crowd, but obviously controlling this 'peaceful' protest. The created a line, yet held it. The created a parimater, and held it.

Yet, they failed, bu concentrating on the main protest. Now there's looting in stores outside that area, there's fires burning.

Last night when this thread was just getting started I turned on the tv. CNN had Lebron on one channel and Carrol Burnett on the other. Fox was covering something about Berwick and Obama abusing the system again. I don't get ABC, but CBS and NBC were running their normal junk.

So, the OPD had the main crowd controlled, were they in riot gear from the start of things? It sounds like all the cops were at one location, did they have a reserve force nearby or were they doing the tunnelvision thing?

I just heard that the Obama (African-Muslim) administration is looking into this verdict and investigating if they can prosecute on the federal level. It sure is interesting how the African US administration takes interest in such things, but ignores other injustices. Very interesting.
