They ain't the same obviously, but I see a lot of parallels,
criminal syndicate players, money making operation, freedom erosion, etc
Everything about this stinks, BP for starters it's past history to present,
cap and trade, Haliburton involvement, the selling and shorting, stocks and bonds,
no urgency to clean up, the Obama Admin, like nothing is happening, media
collusion like they did for NeoCons, BP was NeoCons, lol .

I vote oil blow out, because it is killing much more innocent life.
Unless you factor in the unlimited power the government gained from 9/11 that has been a great long lasting disaster to this country.
Didn't the victims families of 9/11 get handsomely rewarded for their loss?
I wonder how the victims of this disaster will fare?

911 destroyed what was left of our constitutional rights. Fuck the whales, comparatively speaking.

The greatest disaster are the brains behind these shenanigans being utilized for evil & destruction & greed. VS: the greater good for humanity.

LOL Phoenix........good answer :oo-->
I say the oil "leak".....911 was a one timer but the oil leak will last just about forever......specially for all the animals at sea.

Greater as in the magnitude of the disaster itself or greater as in what came from it?
I say it is too early to tell.

I agree. I think the oil well leak will be, although Yahoo says that Feds say new cap could contain Gulf leak by Monday http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100709/ap_on_bi_ge/us_gulf_oil_spill
Righty-right. And I might find a chest of gold dabloons in the local swimming hole. MIGHT, I might add.

The real questions is, which is the bigger conspiracy?

With all due respect, it's pretty clear.
9/11 and the fascism that came from it will pass. It won't outlast the US Government.
The Gulf of Mexico damage is permanent, at least in the sense of all our lifetimes. It will at least mean the non-viability of the Gulf, if not large portions of the Atlantic.

Two facets of the same.

obviosly the oil well ,because the media FOCUSED out attention on 911 ( while dodging the facts), but they CONSISTENTLY downplay this...so our reaction should be the opposite.

Tough call.
9-11 was the precursory to TRILLIONS of dollars being spent to fight a fabricated enemy
Macondo will cause TRILLIONS of dollar of lost revenue, jobs, etc
I'm gonna say 50/50 at this point, but my gut tells me that Macondo will be worse.
