Terrible story of a bunch of self righteous jurors incompetent and lying police, and an idiot judge.
These are the people who let this country become what it has.
Shameful.
Stay far away from Rock Hill South Carolina.

I wasn't planning any trips to South Carolina or anything, but I'll take your advice and stay the hell away from Rock Hill!

I'm serious.

I'll never go there in my life.

Ever.

Ev-er.

Dateline to revisit Rock Hill rape, murder case
The Herald

"Dateline NBC" will air a two-hour special on Friday revisiting a 2001 case in which a Rock Hill man was convicted of sexually assaulting and murdering his 12-year-old daughter.

Billy Wayne Cope was convicted in 2004 of two counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct, criminal conspiracy, and unlawful conduct towards a child for the rape and murder of Amanda Cope. He was sentenced to life plus 30 years, with no parole.

A second suspect, James Sanders, was also sentenced to life plus 30 years for the girl's rape and murder.

Cope appealed to the S.C. Court of Appeals in 2009. In April, the court affirmed all convictions, reversing only the conspiracy charge, which the court later reinstated.

Jim Morton, Cope's defense attorney, said Cope is in the process of appealing to the South Carolina Supreme Court for a hearing.

"The Mystery in Rock Hill" will air from 9 to 11 p.m. on WCNC-TV, Comporium cable channel 6.

Yeah... I got drawn into the story. It seemed that the guy was a little mentally slow and had no idea how he was being railroaded.

The spineless people are nauseating. That female investigator was less than white trash pretending to be a professional. The judge was a POS. And why didn't the actual criminal just say the truth? They already had him with DNA evidence. He could easily have just said the father was not involved. Had to be a real scumbag through his whole being.
