View Full Version : How many truly think for themselves, and what of it?

First, I have read from various sources that anywhere from 90 to 97 percent of the population lack the capacity to think for themselves.

Second, if many are predisposed not to think for themselves, are the chances of informing people through means other than emphatic, sleek nonsense? Huxley said that “so long as men worship dictators, Caesars and Napoleons will arise to make them miserable.” Many do not worship dictators per se, but merely one wing or another of the dictatorship, ergo I find this quote to be applicable.

What is the application in all of this? The approach of telling the truth and presenting people with facts, evidence, and other things that are uncomfortable will yield nothing, short of the 3-10% with the capacity to think for themselves. Even if they did think for themselves, what are the odds that they could be persuaded to get off their butts and do something? Given the inherent docility of human nature, and how many like to paint a nice little smiley face on everything and 'hope for the best', 10% would be generous. At most, this yields three million if one could reach 100% of the population. As it impractical to come to every biped in the country which does not cluck or squawk with this message, it becomes painfully clear that we need to win over some of the majority as well.

Thus, I propose that a 'noble lie' be fabricated that is tailor-made to the sensibilities of someone who has nothing to lose. The criteria are manifest given his nature: it must be simple yet plausible, and not touch upon mainstream taboos. The proposal is, in effect a creation of a paper Caesar for them to worship, and in doing so for us to use them to our ends.

at least 97% of the population is unable to think for themselves.

nothing else explains network television ratings and the fact that cable companies even exist.

None of us think for ourselves, hopefully those of us here at least try. Pretty much everything each of us believes was somebody else's idea, and we end up defending someone else's ideas.

This is currently being done, via many angles, by the Zionists.

Noble is a relative term.

Not "capacity." Will. The motivation.

Most people are comfortable in their velvet-lined mind-cages. Many are scared that what they have will be taken away, so they shun anything that might spark a thought contrary to what the TV teaches them. Some are too lazy to think, preferring to just accept what is circulated as "Truth."

Even some genuine mentally-retarded people can think for themselves; they know when they're being taken.

In my teens and early twenties, I still believed in the NONSENSE that we "only have to give people the truth, and then they'll 'wake up'."

It's clear that people DO NOT WANT THE TRUTH, CANNOT HANDLE THE TRUTH. Embracing the Truth means work, fear, risk.

I'm not interested in lies. Lies are for liars. There are no "noble" lies. The Father of Lies is the parent of all who tell lies as a profession. And once you play his game, you will never win, just sink down deeper into the Hell-hole you climbed in to. "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions."

I've given up all hope of "fixing" this world. Better men than I can dream of being failed in the past with better odds and better weapons. I decided to accept what was in front of my face all along, and decided to join the small troupe of people who every generation realize this. I became a Christian in 2007. God, and only God, can and will set this right. Every time man "tries" to set the world right, we merely change masks and rekey the locks on the chains.

You don't educate yourselves by what others tell you but rather by thinking about what others tell you.

And that's why I visit so many sites every day and specally those overseas......grab them all, mixed them together and then separate what makes sense from what does not.
