she looks relatively easy-going.

once when i lived in SF i had a neighbor who was dealing a white powder drug, i'm not sure what. i got a ride up in the elevator with one of his customers. it was like being in a cage with a tiger. he looked like he was trying to figure out whether to mug me or not. or maybe he didn't like me looking at him. but, based on his appearance, it didn't seem smart to turn my back on him.

there was another time i got mugged by some 4 teenagers, snuck up on me when i was walking to the gym. i was unconscious for a few seconds. woke up looking at 4 pairs of legs. peed in my pants and all i could do was look frantically to see if there was a gun anywhere in the picture.

but actually, the criminals i am most concerned about work for the US government. i can handle being mugged once in a while if that is the cost of my freedom.

but Obama-care and all its tax laws - that is something different.

but getting back to Boise ... i had this picture of Idaho as "clean living".

Nasty. I had the impression that a lot of you Americans were carrying sidearms perhaps i got that idea from the old site.

Anyways looks like it might not be a bad idea if places like Boise are going to hell.

not that it fixes it for innocent bystanders, but i thought that most cities had carjackings and other kinds of serious violent crime.

what city doesn't have car-jackings ?

There was a guy from OZ on the old site who was absolutely convinced that Americans all walked around with the biggest guns they could carry and settled all their problems with gunfire. Hell, even if there wasn't a problem, we would shoot each other for fun. I think the guy watched too many movies. That may have been where you got the idea.
