She is the statistic that companies hate about "lifetime warranties."

I can't believe that Fix Or Repair Daily is still on the road ;D
I'm planning on keeping my truck till 2020 so at 50-60k miles a year I'll be inline with this car. On Toyotas website they have a movie about a Tundra with 100k on it and the owner is like "yeah some days we drive 200 miles" I'm like damn 200 miles is a light day.
Needless to say I wrote Toyota to try and land a commercial deal for 2020 and 600k and they weren't interested. Neither was GMC when I was at almost 400k, they don't want people to realize how long cars will last.

GMC does not want people to know that cars can still run after 400K. After all, GM needs the consumers to continue to buy their cars and trucks every 2-3 years in order for them to continue to pay the legacy costs. This is just a guess on my part.

My 1984 Mercedes diesel wagon has 720,000 miles on it, although the speedo broke at 690,000 and had to be replaced. It was bought in 1994 by a limo company. It had 250,000 miles then, and they rebuilt the tranny and the engine. Then they drove it 440,000 miles in ten years. I drove 30,000 of those miles in six months, and then I bought it when they decided to upgrade the fleet.

A P1800 is a model Volvo produced in the sixties and very early seventies. Irv Gordon is the original owner of one who has racked up over 2,700,000 miles.
