Actually it started yesterday when I went to my favorite place "The Senior Thrift Store".......let me tell you, there was not one single parking space int thelot or on the street and it wasn't even Saturday, inside the store was bumper to bumpler so that I got the hell out of there.......is getting worse and worse as people try to find inexpensive clothing.......makes me feel (almost) guilty of my 175 bags that I am holing back.
Went today to the casino and went up and down till finally I left when I lost $45.00.......than includes food, refreshments and dealers tips whenever I won, from there I went to Wally's world and it was EMPTY maybe about 50 people altogether..........101 degrees outside and now I am cooling down.......and how was your day?

Wow. I don't think I have ever seen an empty Walmart:). I continue to see more empty buildings at the strip malls around here. It's making me seriously consider starting a cash for gold business.

I have to admit that a near-empty Wal-Mart is an unusual thing. The Wal-Marts that I go to are usually full and they usually do not have enough cashier lines open and therefore creating long lines. Yeah my day was pretty good because I had a good work week at my job and that is always a good thing for me. It does not surprise me that thrift stores are crowded since consumers are trying to stretch their dollar as much as possible.

good. sounds like you had a good day !
101 degrees ?! that makes me wonder if you're in Eastern Oregon, which is sort of like the "high desert".
I guess is gets that hot in the Ashland area, just north of Shasta, too.
but when I think of Oregon I think of Portland and rain - not 101 degrees F !
i'd be going to Walmart just to enjoy the AC ! ;D
you have 175 bags of clothing stashed away ?
are there specific clothing items - like socks - that you think it's good to load up on ?

I haven't been to a wal-mart in at least 2 years because I boycott them.
Sounds like a good day you had though Ponce. Mine was nice, went to the local barber shop for a trim, then the gym, had a great workout. Was able to bench 90lb dumbbells and left with that awesome pumped up feeling.
Then, back to work on the boat. Trying to install a bilge pump system that's eluding me, knowledge wise.

Rocket? the food and drinks alone was worth the $45.00 .........about clothing, the store just to sell a full bag of clothing (your choice, you fill it up) for $2.00.....the clothes are like new and for most of my bags I only paid $2.00 six months ago it went up to $3.00............all those 175 bags are not for me but for trading with WTSHTF.....most of our clothing (about 96%) comes from overseas so that soon very little will come in and what ever comes in will be very expensive.
Last year I got hold of a four piece Armany for $2.00 that was worth $780.00 and pants that are worth over $80.00 each 10 of them for $2.00........I am good in wrapping and packing 12 pants in a little plastic grocery bag ;D
I do have about 50 pants for myself and about 50 shirts and 20 coats.........a almost new "London Fog" with a liner for $3.50...and about 60 ties............from Wally's world I bought 8 pairs of soc for $4.50 and seven pair of shorts for $5.00, of both I have around 60 pairs. The price for both of them has now gone up.
Lile I say........."Buy today for the way that you want to live tomorrow"... Ponce

Holy macro General.........I never look up there I didn't even know that I had that many posts or thank you hahahahahahah.........about being a "Jew" shhhhhhhhhh, about being a bastard shhhhhhhh, let's keep it a secret, ok?
You know? to give or to received a "Thank you" or a semite, or what ever, is like when I was in the US army and they tried to give me medals, overseas I was "shot" three times, if you want to count a small scratch in my arm as a shot.....like the captain told me "We need hero's" hahahahahahahahahahah, and you know what? I think that it was a ricochet from a rock and not a bullet that hit my arm.
Also shot in the leg and it burn like hell, the medic came took one look and told me "Look over there" and when I did he squeezed the wound ,the the bullet came out like squeezing something from your face.
I think that Americans have something about medals,,,,,,,they give them out like candy, however no CMH has been given to a live soldier in Iraq or Afgha......at this time they are trying to approve one for this one trooper.
Anyway.......I talk to much.............and PS: No medals for anyone here, be what you are and that's it, the only one that has to approve of you is yourself and no one else............and that's why I give myself a thank you for every letter that I type hahahahahahahahahahahahah.

You don't talk too much Ponce, however there's many ears open to listening.
You summed it all up, in this post. Cheers, my friend.

Almost forgot..........there were to lines of Mexicans getting money orders at Wally's, this is the first time that I have seen that........also I have seen more Mexicans than ever before running around, in my little town there are only about five of them that work at the Mexican restaurant and that's it.
