There are now more govt. workers than those employed in manufacturing and construction.

Very good news! That means we are even closer to revolution then even I thought.
If it's bad news, I like it!
Good news only prolongs the agony.

I doubt the "government sector" jobs includes the military. Add them, and it goes higher.

Also, at some point those manufacturing job numbers were rigged to include burger flippers and other menial jobs, on the "theory" that they are "manufacturing" a finished food product out of raw materials. No lie.

And
Many of the construction workers are probably working on Government projects
Same might apply the the manufacturing workers too.
Pretty bad.

Manufacturing of the USG's killing machines is in the private sector, and I understand that bidness is great for making bullets, bombs, and those extraordinarily expensive MRAP trucks.

Where does the Government get the money to pay all of these employees?
They steal it from you through 'Democracy'.
So the size of the 'people' gets smaller while the size of the Government grows larger. Cancer's grow until they kill off their host. We think Cancer wins, because we die. But when we die, CANCER DIES ALSO.

There are 19 million farm workers and 20 million in manufacturing. Just 13% of the population actually make something. All the rest are in service jobs, or government, or don't work at all.

I'm wondering if Postal workers might have been excluded as well?
Either way, the graph is very clear, something must give, as this cannot be sustained.
