Report: BP attempts to hire Gulf scientists at $250/hour, must keep research confidential for 3 years; Some from LSU, Texas A&M have accepted (http://www.floridaoilspilllaw.com/report-bp-attempts-to-hire-gulf-scientist-at-250hour-must-keep-research-confidential-for-3-years-some-from-lsu-texas-am-have-accepted)
3 years eh? I'd guess they're pretty confident that TEOTWAWKI (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/TEOTWAWKI) will unfold in that time frame, and if the scientists are even still alive, their "explosive" research will be yield a big yawn from whatever society looks like then... Maybe they're trying to bribe or lure all the independent/ loose-cannon scientists in the area from publicizing stories like these,
SHOCK: Water “sample exploded†when chemist tested for oil; “Most likely†methane or Corexit (VIDEO) (http://www.floridaoilspilllaw.com/shock-water-sample-exploded-when-chemist-tested-for-oil-most-likely-methane-or-corexit)
Methane in Gulf "astonishingly high": U.S. scientist (http://gold-silver.us/forum/general-discussion/methane-in-gulf-'astonishingly-high'-u-s-scientist/)
Maybe they should take the $250/hr and just shut up, lest there need to be a new trend: DEAD MARINE CHEMISTS/BIOLOGISTS (http://www.stevequayle.com/dead_scientists/UpdatedDeadScientists.html).
