OOOOOH, this whole thing makes my blood boil. First, they create a forced insurance program on the backs of the workers (but disguised to make it look like employers fit the bill) with themselves as the beneficiary. The program itself puts downward pressure on wages with the supposed silver lining as security for the policy holders/wage earners in the event of job loss. And now that they aren't turning a ginormous profit anymore, all of a sudden the policy holders have to eat it instead of the beneficiary? Because, you know, those that file claims are so terrible for expecting the insurance company (read: government) to live up to their liability.
Here is a question: why not just abandon the forced insurance for anyone NEW that comes into the system? If the system is flawed such as they say, why continue with it? Can't you just see Obamacare playing out at the end in a similar vein. The answer is always rationing, it's not to abandon the blood sucking counterproductive unless you are the government system in the first place.
These greedy pigs make me sick.

One thing about this subject is that when funding came up for a vote and and it was a stand alone bill for continuing unemployment TPTB started talking about the deficit, they were not talking about prior nor were thay talking about it when the war funding came along.

Pelosi and the dems are just as much in game with the republicans on this issue, the fact of the matter is that they want to draw a line or so they say.
But both polotically and economically they cannnot just let people become cut off, after all there is 8 people looking for every one new job out there, and its gonna get worse before it gets better.
