it looks like NYMex is open from about 8 AM Eastern to maybe 1:30, then NY Globex is open from then till about 5:15 Eastern time.
it seems like a lot of the most blatant manipulation occurs when NYMex is open, and also when NYMex & London markets are both open, from about 8 AM to 11 AM.
