The New York Times newspaper reported on Monday that the illness of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak is serious and that the intelligence assessment by the CIA claims the Egyptian leader has one year left to live at most. According to press reports, Mubarak complained Sunday to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Obama that his health is the subject of frequent media reports. According to several reports, Mubarak suffers from cancer and he received treatments in France and Germany.

The Washington Post daily reported on Monday that the American administration fears the day after Mubarak's' death, and is closely following the situation in Egypt.
