pretty impressive. I wonder if the people there were seeing the same thing the camera was seeing. I thought you'd get them stopped to watch but they seemed to just walk on by for the most part.

I was thinking the same thing, basically "How can they just walk past that without watching?"
I bet you're right, that the 3D effect has a lot to do with the right perspective, the visual "sweet spot".

You know what? There was a moment at the end where the entire scene went dark for a moment and I felt like "Wow! Total darkness! That's something you don't see often!"

It's nice, but I already saw a display like that 25 years ago at Stone Mountain, Georgia, and it's not so amazing the second time you see the effect.
