Nuke them? If so, how about no?

The US is already involved in enough pointless foreign wars and operations.

China hasn't done anything except peddle debt. We bought that debt, it's our own damn fault. China's only a threat, when we look in the mirror and see what we've become.

They are going to be saddled with our worthless dollars, that sucks, for them.

We shouldn't nuke anyone. I thought you were against hate golddust. Why this?

I'm not trying to be nit-picky, but isn't it China who bought our debt? I thought that all we get out of the deal are fully stocked Wal-Marts.
Or are you Chinese?
If so, thank you for purchasing our debt.
However, our policy is no returns, no exchanges past 30 days.
Sorry 'bout that. It's just bizness. Hope you understand.

And I don't think we should just up and nuke China. If we did that, we'd just end up with radioactive lead filled toys for our children, and the lead parts already bad enough.

You are nit-picking Joe! Lol, but I accept that because you are a sharp guy.

Cheers, I guess I should add we bought into the Chinese debt 'system'.

I'd stand by you in line at our fully stocked wal-marts, except that I boycott wal-mart for that very reason. Also, I am not of asian descent.

Yea, I kinda figured you weren't Chinese, but thought I'd add the "thanks" just in case you were. :D

Problem with WalMart is that it isn't just them. That crap is almost everywhere you look these days.
...and thanks for the compliment.

I can't wait till someone drops a nuke in gringo land and we will no longer hear all that crap about invade, invade, INVADEEEEEE.

I sure as hell would like to see a few of you crying over the body of your son or daughter while the puss and blood is coming out of their body..... if I sound like a cynic then that's your problem because I have seen that in many places which includes my own home land.

There is nothing like feeling your own pain in order to feel the pain of others.......we have already create more enemies than we can handle.........is time to make friends without having to buy them with the so called Foreign Aid........and is time to get rid of that so called "friend" that keeps on pushing us towards war and death >:(

Friends with all Nations, alliances with none

That should be our National motto.
Too bad it isn't.

China owns a majority of out Treasury notes and they can "nuke" us financially (i.e. sell U.S. Treasuries) if they wanted to. China will also get hurt in the aftermath of the "financial nuke" when the dollar completely collapses but they will come out better than the U.S. because they are buying gold and silver and the Chinese people are buying silver. China has us by the balls and they are using the vice grip and are squeezing very hard.

Liquid, It is your choice to boycott Walmart. It is of my opinion that boycotting WalMart will not work because they are too big and even if the boycott of Walmart miraculously worked to the point where WalMart is in trouble and ends up filing for CH-11 BK protection, then WalMart will just go cry to mommy gov't and ask for a bailout since WalMart is "too big to fail". I shop at WalMart for food and other things on a daily basis.

However, like Joe King said, it is not just WalMart. There are Chinese made goods everywhere. Go to Target and you will find Chinese made goods. Go to Best Buy or some other electronic retail outlet and you will find Chinese made goods in their stores. It is very hard (if not impossible) to avoid buying stuff made in China.

If you find an American-made product, then it will cost more than the Chinese made product. Even if you find an American-made product, the raw materials that were used to make those American-made goods were probably from China anyway. There really is no escaping the reach of China in terms of buying products at WalMart and other places. I am sure that there are small mom and pop places that sell American made goods but I do not think there are many places that just sell American-made goods.

As the years go by, Japan’s steady record of successes stands in ever-greater contrast to America’s failures, and to its inability to think seriously about the kind of country it is becoming. Japan is not without problems, of course, and some are disconcerting by our standards. But the Japanese have a much better chance than we do of surviving into the next century as a coherent, prosperous nation with a culture and civilization it can unmistakably call its own (http://www.amren.com/mtnews/archives/2008/01/in_praise_of_ho.php).

Are you serious?

Your lack of Geo Political knowledge is astounding.

China = PUPPET
Russia = PUPPET
Japan = PUPPET
So on....

China HAS NO MONEY. They have a Central Bank that enslaves all with fiat and income taxes....

All wars in the past 100 years have been fought from a round table in NY. Yet you still believe there is some 'foreign' enemy to get us. The US has NEVER had an external enemy. We are told our enemies are Communist, then turn around and fund other crypto Communist nations to fight them. But they never fight themselves....

All money, aide, technology and supplies that ANY Communist country has came from the US. FACT.

Those nations have no SURPLUS. These countries total production is so small, their wealth is nothing, their surplus is nonexistent.....THEY COULDNT BEAT THE BOYSCOUTS. And never could....

Let me guess, we just barely squeaked by the Soviets in the Cold War? We are SO LUCKY..... :sarc:

You just keep worrying about an 'external threat', (While they can accomplish ANYTHING they want here at home) This way you cannot see THE REAL WAR: The infiltration, subversion and destruction of our youth, the total hatred, chaos and violence in our Nation, the total taxes that are being stolen from you to support your own downfall.

Our problem is not the FALLING OUT of our Military, its the SELLING OUT of our Politicians.

Our problem is not EXTERNAL War, it is INTERNAL TREASON.....

Seems the US gov has always won their wars by making things so difficult for the civilians of the enemy that the combatants lay down their arms because the cost is just not worth it.

A few examples are Shermans march to the sea, destroying towns and agriculture. The Confederacy surrenders.

The cavalry wiping out entire Indian villages, the Chiefs eventually surrender or there will be no more Indians.

The nuking of the Japaneses cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The Japanese were believers that the US would wipe out the people entirely.

The US participation in the fire bombing of Dresden.

Now we use sanctions and if that isn't enough we can always fall back on shock and awe.

In the good old days 87% of all that we made was for export and that made us into what we became, I am sorry to say that we will never be number one once again because now we will never catch up.

This is a race where they have two legs and we have only one.

This is the second stupid thing you said here and my patience is boiling over.

The US was built upon being its own marketplace. This is also what built China- the US marketplace. As the world's most FREE economy (until recently) and the safe harbor of whoever would invent and take risks, America exported because America produced.

The technology developed by America was GIVEN to China.

The slavery of China was given to America in its taxes and government controls.

The safe harbor of inventors and investors was destroyed in Amerika by the global gamers.

Thank you for your opinion Spec.......please take your BP pill ;D..........and yes we did give them our know how........but.........meanwhile we should have been way ahead of the game.......would you like a good example???????? last year a TV commercial by GM "Our cars are now as good as Toyota's", only problem with this is that while we made our cars as good as theirs they were already past that point and now their cars are still better than what we produced.

Now then about the US being it's best marketplace........the billionairs didn't make their fortune by dealing among themselves right here in the states but by getting "new" money coming in from the rest of the world.

So, OK........tell me how to improve the economy without having export? how can we created more jobs?
we can only produce and consume only so much........and specially when we need the money that the US is wasting in giving out free money overseas and making wars.

Come back if you please ;D

FYI - China was the world's leading manufacturer for more than 1500 years, giving up that honour in the mid 1800's to Britain who then let America take over for the last century. China is now posed to retake that title, and will probably hold it for another 1500 years if the world doesn't fall apart before then...

Oh, it is really quite simple. The only problem with the answer is that the global elite don't want Amerika to recover its previous greatness. And, in reality, nor do the common shlubs walking the streets with their sodium-flouride-impaired brains and processed food poisoned bodies.

1. Strong leadership from the executive in morality is essential. A God-less leader leads his people to hell.
2. Guarantee that there will be no taxes higher than 10% for income, capital gains, or corporations; with the goal of eliminating income taxes entirely while import tariffs fill that void.
3. Cut all non-constitutional spending and government infringements.
4. Prosecute to the fullest all criminals who pillaged from the American treasury and are still living without regard to statute of limitations: treason will have no safe haven.
5. Prosecute and execute traitors and thieves who established and endorsed a usurpacious banking system.
6. Prosecute and execute incompetent and treasonous judges.
7. Remove meddling government agencies while installing proper agencies to protect the American people.
8. Rapidly execute foreign enemies who entangled us in wars that serve only the global elite.

There are many more simple things, but this would be enough to make companies flourish in America with corporations setting up manufacturing here at lightspeed.

Ummm... what did they manufacture before the mid 1800s? Rollex watches? Steam engines? Computers?

The Chinese have no impressive history.

They are not taking anything. They were given the technology, hardware and free markets 30 years ago. It has taken them that long with their own graft problems to even get a stranglehold on the world.

Spec? even if your dream world were to come true, who would come up with new ideas and new ways to make them cheaper and better than overseas?

We need to educate the young people who will become the leaders of tomorrow, not only the elite but all those who are able to go to school......... as long as education stays at the bottom of a mine only the elite will benefit from our labor and the US will get nowhere.........the place to start is with the education of our youngsters because right now if the future of America is the the hand of those youngsters then we are in deepppppppppp trouble.

We can only move forward if export more than what we consume......

Yep, the ancient Chinese certainly have a history of innovation but that was later retarded after internal problems arose and when, I believe, the Chinese government imposed economic and political isolationism on the country, which was later ended by imperial force.
