I think they're wrong in the majority of cases. Local manufacturing will be the future as the world gets bigger.

I'd put at the top of the list for occupations booming; morticians, body management, cremations.
With 79 million "boomers" reaching retirement and many becoming destitute...many will choose suicide or die from poor health.
WWIII will provide many young bodies to process.
The coming famine will keep many in this business gainfully employed.

I think many of those occupations are going away due to technological advancements rather than being wiped out due to the recession. Photo processor, sewing machine operator, book repair, etc. are just becoming obsolete.

I like how they mention the Great Recession. Of course, it may end up being the Greatest Depression. Many of those jobs will not be a total loss, because they will be transferred overseas.

Well this is a positive note... ;D I've yet to see, a man with a bachelor's degree in 'body management'.
Perhaps that day will come. The gainfully employed will appreciate such opportunities in the future, to process this mess.
We should tax them more. ;D

Yeah, waaay too many federal bureucrats. Working for the Federa gov is the safe-haven for jobs now.
They make a good deal more than their private sector counter-parts, get a pension, and (most) have more security.
Bloated bureaucracy.
