bad due diligence on my part, but i just found out that new cell phone tower (not antenna) has been cleared for construction near my new homestead.
i went to the construction site today (where it is marked out to be) and clocked it from my house.
1.1 miles.
on a scale of 1-10 how concerned should i be? i mean i know i should be concerned, but should i be "sell the farm" concerned or just tinfoil the house concerned?

Maybe you could get the neighbors on board & petition TPTB to challenge having it there?

already been tried apparently, prior to me moving in the area. it's under construction already, the place is all leveled out, and there's been concrete poured. there's a big pile of girders in the field as well, so i assume it's a done deal.

1.1 miles.
One mile distance...I would not be at all concerned. They install these on the roofs of apartment buildings and fire houses and other city structures near people which is of concern.
Watch some Youtube videos that show guys using rf meters to measure the radiation in their neighborhoods.

What area is the tower covering? Is it a high-powered tower in a rural area, or a low-powered tower in a dense urban area?

hi power rural. thanks book, i did not know of those sites. looking for cell phone towers was admittedly at the bottom of my pre purchase inspection list.
edit: searched my address. tower is not listed, nor are 2 others that have already been built about 10 miles away. not sure how accurate that site is.

There are greater environmental dangers than a mobile tower 1.1 miles away. However, if you are seriously enough concerned, install wire mesh on the entire side of the house, including over windows (if any), on the side of your home facing the tower. If you can install siding over the top, so much the better. These towers emit microwaves, and the mesh will work like the mesh in a microwave oven. You'll need to do some research on Faraday Cages for microwave frequencies to determine the correct mesh size, etc.

A cell tower a mile away??? You're pretty safe during the day while you're awake. But if you take a nap or sleep at night you better shield your skull with aluminum foil unless you want the chip in your head being flipped on. I've seen it happen so many times; go to bed at night a normal person, forget the aluminum foil shielding, wake-up a zombie.

look into orgonite,
or make your home into a faraday cage,
orgonite would be easier,
faraday cage will show a reduction on an EM meter, if you are sciencey and need proof.

A full Faraday Cage is not necessary, unless there are metal objects (sheds, large fixtures, etc.) on other sides of the house that would bounce the microwaves back to the unshielded side(s).

thx for the info. feel bad for my neighbor, he lives about 300 yards away from it and thinks it's great because now "he'll get 5 bars." ::)
