72 Hours

I was listening to the radio on the way home,and Fmr. Ambassador Bolton was being interviewed. He was saying Shizzrael had only 72 hrs. to make an attack on Iran. The reason for the deadline, was that the Russians will be inserting the fuel rods shortly after that, and any attack after they were in, would result in radioactive particle release over a large area. Israel historically hit the Iraq reactor, and the Syrian reactor before fueling.Personally I believe they will hit it. Watch for IDF aircraft to move either into Saudi Arabia, or Georgia in the next 24-48 hrs. They dont have the range to make the round trip.I dont think the US will want to be directly involved,nor the Russians.So scratch Iraq or Afghanistan for launch points.I believe the Turks would fire or intercept any flyovers their territory.I think the Russians and US have already agreed to not fight each other over this as long as no territory is invaded. I finally predict a Hezbollah/Hamas counter strike shortly after the news is broke with a possible Syrian move. anyone else?

In that item I posted recently about the masod terrorizing USS Liberty survivor Phil Tourney the agent that accosted him about 10 days ago indicated to Phil that the tribe would start their next war "in 30-60 days"

I agree about them wanting an escalation.Ive researched the IDF air forces a little, they have around 190 aircraft,(different sources,im using an average) for this mission, F-15 and F-16. If they do attack they would need to send no more than 150 loaded with ordinance, the rest would be needed for defense,and anti-SAM usage. Meanwhile, If Syria attacks with airpower the rest of the IDF Interceptors (another 200 aircraft) would have to defend Israeli air space and attack incoming Syrian armor. Syria possesses around 500 attack fighters, mostly Mig 21 and Mig 23 ,but has some Mig 29 aircraft and a number of Mig 25 Interceptors. If Israel took a beating in Iran getting in or out,Syria would have Air superiority. Even if Israel made a hit with every missile against Syrian planes, they simply wouldnt have enough "shots" to wipe them out, they would be forced into machine gun dogfights.
