House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, California Democrat, called for an investigation of those who are protesting the building of the Ground Zero Mosque on Tuesday. She told San Francisco's KCBS radio:

"There is no question there is a concerted effort to make this a political issue by some. And I join those who have called for looking into how is this opposition to the mosque being funded," she said. "How is this being ginned up that here we are talking about Treasure Island, something we've been working on for decades, something of great interest to our community as we go forward to an election about the future of our country and two of the first three questions are about a zoning issue in New York City." (h/t Kristinn)

Calls to investigate the funding for those proposing the $100 million "Cordoba House" have fallen on deaf ears, though, as New York's Mayor Mike Bloomberg has described such an investigation as "un-American."

Ms. Pelosi called the Ground Zero mosque an "urban development decision" for New Yorkers to work through. Her remarks happened on the heels of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Nevada Democrat, parting ways with President Barack Obama on the issue. Mr. Reid suggested the mosque should be built somewhere else.

I am going to have to strongly disagree with you on allowing one "sanctioned religion" in this country no matter who founded this place. please don't try to play the peacefull Christian religion angle. I am going to have to strongly disagree with you on allowing one "sanctioned religion" in this country no matter who founded this place. please don't try to play the peacefull Christian religion angle.

It is simply not so especially Catholics from an outsiders view a religion that practices ritualized cannibalism pedal influence just as much as the Jews and has started more wars than people can count is equally as screwed up as some brown people that kneel on mats 5 times a day.


I never said anything like that, regarding only allowing "one sanctioned religion" in the country. I simply stated that this country was founded on Christian principals, as acknowledged by the forefathers, and the constitution reflects that.

The jews have started more wars than any other race in the history of mankind. Any time there was a "Catholic" based war, it was a reaction to jewry.
If you're talking about the killing and fighting going on in countries like Ireland, I would remind you that the Catholic/Protestant schizm is a product of jewry.
All inquisitions were reactions to the deceptive ans subversive ways of jewry.

If you personally are not of any faith in any particular religion, or if you are, that is your perogitive, and I'm not about to force religion on anyone.

I feel that our true problem in this country is we have gotten away from rule of law and have become a democracy.

I understand Catholisism I was raised Cathloic, but that is the outside impression from some one that is ignorant of the particulars of any certian religon. For instance Muslims pray 5 times a day and want to blow up the world 24/7. Mormons are all have 10 wives and live in Utah. I have studied lots of religons and What I have found is they all have the same basic tennants. but that always seems to get lost in the conduct of rituals and xenophobia of the other competing religons. "you have to believe in ____________ to be saved any other path simply cant be the true corect path to salvation" that methodolgy is exactly

That is the whole goal behind terrorism is to use a small amount of resourses to effect mass change. Well they are getting compound interest on 9/11 right now.

Yes, this is a political issue for both sides. Yes, as one poster noted it's a distraction. It's a legal Consitutional matter, and possibley a local one. (I don't know the laws, but I can guess, because it's private property and zoning laws allow it.)

I don't like Islam, and I don't want one Mosque built in the US.

But this posturing 3 months before election has become pretty stupid. Yes, Faux news is fueling the fire but who cares? Faux news is a niche market of people that are already supporters.

It should only be a New York City issue. (Again, I think Islam stinks, as well as every mosque in the US, does. )

Here, I have to disagree. 911 is the achilles heel of the ZOGG (Global Governments).

If you can show people that israel and the US government were the ochestrators and implimentors of the 911 attack, the people will then know that the bastards know no boundaries. Showing people the truth behind 911 is critical. By showing the world the truth, they will then put nothing past the globalists, and they will be on guard for global tyranny.

911 offers an opportunity to prove to everyone that the ZOGG is an evil hydra, but the ZOGG hydra is powerless against the people if the shadows are removed and their actions are put to light.
Then their facade will melt away like the wings of icarus.

It is paramount that the truth of 911 is broadcasted by everyone, all the time, to everyone, everywhere you go. It is the one way that you can prove to people that there is a conspiracy, without pulling out stacks of books written hundreds of years ago and sifting throught them all.
