As soon as I saw them say that the shoes repel water, I knew it was a hoax. They could wear plastic bags over their shoes and that will not make them float.

Well it happens that I once studied in a ninja school. As you may know, ninjas have a long standing reputation for walking on water. They taught me all their secrets. The secret to walking on water is that in Japan the water is usually only about six inches deep so you wear baskets on your feet to give you traction in the mud. In any other case you take the train like a normal person and let the marks assume you walked on the water!
