From Telegraph.UK- be skeptical, they cite "civil rights groups" ADL & SPLC repeatedly, & enshrine false flags like OKC, but otherwise very interesting write-up:

The truth behind America's 'civilian militias' (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/7944563/The-truth-behind-Americas-civilian-militias.html)

Armed and extremely... patriotic. Why a growing number of Americans are preparing for a war against their government.

Why a growing number of Americans are preparing for a war against their government.

I believe to be entirely accurate this sentence should be modified to say

"Why a growing number of Americans are preparing for a war against SOMEONE ELSES government."

It makes no sense to prepare for war against your own government.

I wonder if the journalist is ignorant of US military fields,or if Mr. Cochrane is a flat out liar about his past military career. Ill send anyone here who can prove The US Marines have "field medics" a ASE. I know for a fact, they do not. The Marines utilize a Navy Corpsman for a medic. Good find Pat, not trying to derail, but the little things make people doubt interviews. and I am a highly suspicious individual!

Yeah it's quite a conundrum, the article notes that these militias train to fight "American soldiers", which they may or may not... they are probably looking at UN/foreign troops, since even the most dense of US enlisted would likely "wake up" to who they're fighting for (intl. banksters/NWO (http://gold-silver.us/forum/general-discussion/the-zionist-elephant-in-the-room/)), if they're asked to fight Americans in America... I'm skeptical that even with TPTB's hubris over their talent at brainwashing & "creating reality" for people IE the US troops, they may be overreaching to think they can dupe enough US troops into believing they're being asked to fight '(US) terrorists/insurgents/etc'. TPTB may fool some of the troops some of the time, but not all of them all of the time. Their family, friends, & hipper fellow troops would wake them up.

article ends with SPLC-mouthpiece Mark Potok saying,

He also says it’s entirely possible the US could see another ‘Oklahoma’, but when, and how, is impossible to predict.

If an informed reader has looked into SPLC's connection with the OKC-bombing false flag op (http://www.google.com/search?q=OKC+bombing+SPLC+Dees) (designed specifically to blame on & vilify militia/patriot groups), then if they run Potok's remark through the trusty Chutzpah-Maneuver Discombobulator, his remark is revealed to be a threat...

Anything published by a news paper house with the word Truth in it is going to be far from it. But we all knew that all ready. It's not like its news or anything.

BTW What does the word NEWS stand for? Historically?

I certainly don't have a government.

"Cochran told me that he had been shot in the leg by friendly fire in Iraq and in the finger by an Iraqi, and had left the navy ‘just before Comrade Clinton took office in 1992’."

Probably an unintentional error on the part of the British writer due to ignorance of the structure of the Navy/Marines.
