You arithmetic su ... Uh, I mean "unimpressive"! It costs almost exactly $9 per square foot and that price does not change unless you get artsy craftsy and use something other than $1 bills. Of course $9 becomes less significant with inflation, but it still is $9 per square foot. Oh, and you can get them in sheets, which is less bother than gluing individual notes to the wall.
BTW, there are in fact people who get dollar bills in sheets from the mint and use them to wrap gifts, which is a lot more impressive than just papering your walls with them.
