Happens basically every month (solar rotation). What is new are the great daily updated images we now get of solar weather, and how quiet things have been the last 4 years. Such as 0 sunspots again the last few days.

But the plasma ion structures are getting more active for the months and years ahead.
Or as the MSM would say, strings are discombobulating. Or is it combobulating?
