I got this link from another site. Very interesting commentary. Audio quality is terrible but there's enough meat. It's Scrushy convincing the CFO to keep cooking the books a little longer in a meeting before the skid hit the plate on that company.

Got this from R's site that I follow. If you have any inkling for accounting and fraud, this is some good stuff to listen into.

"You engineered your way into this, must be a way to engineer your way out of it" "Well, we have till Thursday to sign off, I am sure I can figure it out by then"

I don't think it'll embed. follow the linky if you thinky.

I love a good accounting fraud. And Rush. I am such a nerd.

I have no idea what "Scrushy" or "healthsouth" are.

Is this supposed to mean something?

Interesting. I actually met Aaron Beam, one of Healthsouth's co-founders. I gave him a ride from a hotel to a business conference where he was speaking on ethics. He gave me a copy of his book about the whole ordeal. Pretty good read.

It was a large accounting fraud involving a company called Healthsouth. If you don't know it's probably not worth bothering yourself about it. Just another pothole in the road to the cliff.
