I have no doubt that either Oswald didn't do it, or at the least, did not act alone.

IMO, it's only common sense that if you were going to take the shot of a lifetime, which is what Oswald would have been doing, you would take your shot when the car was coming up Houston Street towards you.
It would have been a much easier shot from the front and above as opposed to when the target only consists of a head sticking up above the seat as the car moves away from you.
Especially with a bolt action rifle.

Unless of course you need to wait for the target to be in a cross-fire position.
