Antwun Parker's Mom Says Son's A 'Hero'

"He was not a masked robber. His name was Antwun Parker. He was a human."

She said she may file a civil lawsuit against Ersland if she's not happy with the course of action in the criminal case.

If I were the pharmacist I'd file a civil lawsuit against her today for her child's behavior.

I like how she spells his name phonetically. "Antwun" never heard of that one! "Antoine" yes.

"He still should have had a chance to go to court and defend himself," she said. "He's just like everybody else, innocent until proven guilty."

Jus cus he had a gun and wuz robbin duh place don't mean he wuz guilty.

But his dead body with a gun at the scence of the crime and video footage would sure make him guilty in my book.

The lower form of life mutha said he was not doing it on his own choice. Somebody was forcing him to rob the place. Sure... sure.

btw- I see this as the mutha wasting her own son's life. If she instilled in him decent values, this would never have happened to her son. Blame everyone else but where it counts. The pharmacist had the right to respond with deadly force. Did he over-do it? Not if you think law enforcement officers are good. One thing is certain- that kid won't commit another robbery.

If that piece of excrement was in a gang he very well could have been forced into committing the robbery, those who fail to follow orders get whacked. Of course, joining said possible gang in the first place would have been completely voluntary anyway so to hell with him....

So then it all comes from you evil white guys who had black slaves.

Here is where I have to say that it still comes down to choice. You can choose to continue in your current path or you can decide that it is time to change for good. I firmly believe that anyone who surrenders their choices to God will be rewarded with the best returns. No man has an excuse for doing wrong.

"Here ya go. Here is what almost 6 decades of feeding and breeding the worst elements of society gets ya. Was it worth it? Is society better for all the "diversity"? Look at your neighborhood. Look at your schools. Look at your streets, Look at your bank account. The First Negro in the Black House is doing the same thing that this low-level ghetto rat tried to do. How's "tolerance" working out, America?"

Sounds like she's a hero too!

Moral of the story? Always yell DON'T MOVE DIRTBAG!!! or HE'S GOT A GUN!!! before you unload the mag. I learned from watching COPS when there's 6 cops on 1 guy and they're yelling DON'T RESIST!!! as they are trying to dislocate both of his shoulders.

Young female murder suspect fired shot after robbery victim laughed, police say

[UPDATE: Here's the story that ran in print today, including interviews with the suspect's family members, who say she had an uncontrollable temper and needed help.]

The 14-year-old girl charged with fatally shooting a man during a robbery attempt earlier this month fired her gun when one of the victims laughed at her because she was so young, according to police charging documents filed this morning.

Prosecutors, in seeking the young suspect be held without bail, described Arteesha Holt (left) in court papers as a "flight risk and a danger to the citizens of Baltimore." The young girl is charged with first-degree murder, armed robbery, using a handgun in the commission of a violent crime and several other offenses.

Police have said the girl may have tried to rob two men on Linwood Avenue on Aug. 13 as part of a gang initiation. The victims were among three Latino men killed in recent weeks in a spate of crimes that has shaken the community in Southeast Baltimore.

Female gang terrorizes retail stores in crime spree

http://ktnv.images.worldnow.com/images/13046966_BG1.jpg

Las Vegas, NV -- Eleven members of an all female gang have been arrested after police say they went on a violent crime spree.

The women, ranging in age from 15 to 21 are part of a gang called the Lady Maccz.

Police say they dressed in pink and most met while attending Las Vegas High School. They operated as a group for added force.

"They used it to their advantage," says Sgt. Anthony Longo of Metro's gang detail. "They used that wolf pack mentality and overcame the victims in a brutal way."

The female gang allegedly stole an SUV on May 14 and then over the next several days, used the SUV in a string of violent robberies and burglaries.

Metro says they walked into several clothing stores, grabbing clothes and then forcing their way passed clerks to their stolen getaway vehicle.

One clerk says he was punched and choked. In another instance, an eight month old pregnant woman says she was shoved to the ground.

These girls were willing to punch and knock over a visibly pregnant woman causing her to have to go to the hospital for monitoring for several hours," says Metro officer Dan Woodard. "These girls were obviously willing to raise the level of violence to accomplish their goal."

Police call them a hybrid gang. A newer trend in which gangs don't operate in a specific turf making them harder to track.

All 11 of the women believed to be involved have been arrested. Six are juveniles under the age of 18.

Or you could get them on the ground and put a round in their back and yell, "OOPS!".

Can anyone explain to me how commiting a robbery at gun point, and dying, makes a person a hero? Was it the fact that he died?

Basically, this woman is saying we can do whatever we want, take from others, hurt others...yet, if we die doing these things. The light of God will shine on us and we should be praised as heros.

Whoopeededoo! Let's all go out and become 'heros' then.

This mentality is great for the community as a whole. ???

We've seen this same mentality many times before...and it's outright disturbing at best, and makes ya want to stockpile guns to defend yourself against any hero that crosses your path, at worst.

I don't get it either, how going in a pharmacy wearing a mask and brandishing a gun to rob the place makes anyone a hero.... :D it could be argued that the pharmacist over-reacted, BUT if the kid had never gone in to commit an armed robbery, he'd lived to get shot another day :D

That seems to be what constitutes heroics these days. I never could understand why all the people who died in WTC are called heros. Victims yes, but not heros.

It's the same sort of logic that gives everyone a trophy for showing up or that considers all homo sapiens 'equal'. It's barbarism: the lack of any sort of standards to measure one action to another. In an age of relativism as today when it is as illegal to defend yourself as it is to attack another she is as justified as anyone to call her son a hero, because there is no standard for heroism.
