oil, gold, inflation (food!), stock market prediction (dow 4-6K before year's end), wells fargo impounding 65% of collapsenet's sales "to prevent fraud", more.
I don't see this on youtube, can't embed this video source here, it's at the homepage of http://collapsenet.com (13 mins)

Ruppert has been saying this since i was aware of him, since about 2000.
though he had a good example after 9-11.
but he now tells people not to think about the biggest pieces of evidence of 9-11.
however, to resurrect one of his speeches, "how many of you think the Depression hurt the Rich People ?"
there is a demograhic in the US that is benefiting vastly from the economic downturn.
so i agree with Ruppert about preparing for collapse, but lately i think he's been a wimp.
it's easy to say, "the sky is falling", it's a lot more useful to talk about the details of what's making it fall.
in addition to talking about survival techniques.

Just after 4 minutes: "..Ron Paul said it and many gold-bugs have said it, that gold is money and gold is now behaving like money."

Looks like it's time to stock up on a load of freeze-dried food. Anyone here have a preferred vendor?

E-foods direct has been great.
And honeyville now has freeze dried but I have no first hand experience with that line.
Others non-freezedried
The Mormons at Provident living.org (run by the LDS church)and the Mormon supply house provident living .com (not church afflilated).
I knew 100% that the poop is going to hit the fan when Costco jumped on the board the doom and gloom express with their "Thrive" line.

I believe E-foods Direct's freeze-dried stuff uses TVP instead of meat. Mountain House uses real meat.

If our economy is represented by the truck in the following video, who do the people trying to save it from going over the edge represent?
