We all know America is in free fall, but the real question is where do we go from here? America is lost - it can not be saved at this point.

While I feel for the guy as well as support his Right to protest and that of free speech, IMHO he was his just about his own worst enemy.

How he could have likely avoided what happened would have been by examining the rules of the place he wanted to protest at.

Is the fair grounds actually "public property"?

How big of a sign is permissible?
i.e. are there size limitations in place that apply for everyone?
With a big sign like that, just turn it a little bit and you could easily whack people with it. Especially at a fair where half the people aren't watching where they're walking.


The lady in the pink who spoke to him gave him the answer, and he acknowledged it as such, but he didn't want to do it.
Had he simply done so, security's "excuse" to do what they did would have evaporated.

Also, his reaction would have been better received if he had not been yelling and cussing so much.


Personally, before doing something like that I'd go over the rules with a fine toothed comb and come up with a way to wrap those rules around my pinkie finger and use them to my advantage.
I'd also take an official copy of those rules along with me, so that if there were an issue I could politely tell the security guys that it's my desire to comply with the rules and if they would, show me the rule I'm violating so I'm able to comply.

People attending the Fair don't want to be confronted with wacky protesters or Belief advertisers of any sort. People go to the Fair to escape the real world and have fun.
