The board was skunked last week - no one had a correct pick of "ZERO" last week!

Recently the FDIC identified 829 troubled banks (these are the banks which cannot even come up with convincing lies about their balance sheets - there are about 3,000 banks that are way over extended, mostly with commercial real estate).

How many banks will be honored this week - there is no doubt tension between the opportunity to pull a "whoopsie" while everyone is celebrating the holiday, though the concept of federal employees doing any work at all, let alone over a holiday weekend make this a conundrum.

Choose your number of banks to be honored, and for the Ruprick a state to be recognized by 5 pm EDT this Friday. (GA and FL are still handicapped.)

I'm guessing that there'll be 5-6 bank failures.

Last Friday was a fluke in my opinion but have no fear because the gov't is here to get us back to normal. I am predicting 3-4 bank failures on Friday (September 3, 2010). The power ball state is Georgia.

There will be no more bank closings. All of the banks are solvent with adequate reserves, and are lending to appropriate risk levels. Please have an enjoyable holiday weekend, all ye who still are able to labor.

its a holiday weekend and the agents at the fdic are fly fishing so i will guess 0 bank forcloures since last weeks 8 closures. It could go the other way around though and we could see them close many. The masses will be preoccupied with drinking cheep beer and enjoying the company of hot women.........wait a minute....

Looks like we ended up with zero bank failures for Friday (Sept. 3). I think that this is the second straight Friday with zero bank failures.
