OK... I just figured out what happened. It looks like when madfranks did ban Liquid, but he didn't check the ban triggers properly, so even though liquid was "technically" banned, he could still read, post, etc.

I've gone ahead and re-banned him for 3 days - with triggers set properly. No reason phoenix should suffer the sentence while his co-violator goes free with no consequences.

You should ask madfranks because he was the one who DID the two bans - and he's the only one who knows what actually happened. All I know is that when I investigated, I found both bans and looked through them. Liquid's ban did not have the ban triggers properly set, so I assumed madfranks made a mistake, just like I've also made in the past when filling out the ban form. I corrected the situation and made sure Liquid got his 3 days just like Phoenix. Not good enough for you?

I can't believe I have to hold your hand through this. Check the date/time posted when I attempted to ban both Phoenix and Liquid (hint: it was August 28th at 7:34 AM) . Like Gaillo already explained, I didn't set the ban triggers correct and neither of them actually got the ban. Yet you think I successfully banned Phoenix but conveniently forgot about Liquid, because I play favorites against the "racially aware", yet you haven't even checked to see if Phoenix kept posting after his ban. Pardon my interjection in this matter, but if you feel that someone is making personal insults towards you or that you are being picked on by certain others, perhaps you should use the "report to moderator" link located at the bottom right of every post in order to immediately draw attention of the mods to the offending post.

I don't know what forum you moderated for, but there's no "ban button" like you say. It's a full screen of settings, and if you don't do it right (setting the triggers properly, etc.), then situations like what happened to Liquid can happen.

I don't know... you'll have to ask madfranks. I believe it was an honest mistake, though... I've forgotten ban triggers myself in the past and had to go back in and set them correctly.

This is THE most open forum on the net that I'm aware of in terms of TRUE freedom of speech, exposing the ZOG, talk about Hitler, race, the Khazars, etc. Just because this forum ALSO allows people with opposing points of view to post doesn't mean there's "favoritism"... it just means that we try to live up to the ideals of open discussion and don't "lock it down" like other places.

I can't believe I have to hold your hand through this. Check the date/time posted when I attempted to ban both Phoenix and Liquid (hint: it was August 28th at 7:34 AM) . Like Gaillo already explained, I didn't set the ban triggers correct and neither of them actually got the ban. Yet you think I successfully banned Phoenix but conveniently forgot about Liquid, because I play favorites against the "racially aware", yet you haven't even checked to see if Phoenix kept posting after his ban. Check the times he posted those items, they were after the ban! No conspiracy, no favoritism against anyone, just a mistake from a regular member turned mod who didn't set the ban triggers correct. Members must DEMAND that the bandwidth for the forum be increased, and offer up the funds to fix it, if necessary

I have never used the ignore feature, I don't even know how to use it. Same thing when I was at those other forums. I don't think banning is required. The forum can collectively denounce and correct any poster and any post.

The first amendment is to be highly respected, that's why it is first. But if the forum wants to grow and set a truthful tone then that right must be exercised by the many too - otherwise we fall back into the 80% spectator rule.
