In case you didn't hear me the first time, this time I ain't kidding, dammit! I'm out here! ;D ;D ;D

But, before I go, I must share a source of pride. As you may or may not know, i am an avid music lover with a first-rate sound reproduction system. I am a fan of Walsh transducers and had upgraded to the 5000s which are large stereo pair of full range floorstanding loudspeakers. I have listened extensively for about a year and I am thrilled with them. However, because of all the time spent here waiting for the server I have not been able to find time to write a full review of the 5000s. I did post a minireview at an audiophile blog and that review has now, I am proud to report, been posted prominently at the Ohm Acoustics web site, makers of the Walsh 5000s. For those interested in reading it, as it has absolutely nothing to do with gold, silver, economic survival or preps, here is the link: http://www.ohmspeakers.com/reviews.cfm

Mamboni, have you ever listened to the original Ohm Walsh A or F speakers? I read that they were pretty spectacular.

BTW if you are in the NEPA area I know a local guy that has some AMAZING amps, he was chief designer for a large amplifier company before he struck out on his own... http://digitalamp.com/ , and, he will loan you an amp to test in your home if you can show him you are serious.

He'll stay if you stick your arm in a hive of bees.
And he will nurse you back to health.

If he would save a baboon he sure won't say no to your pretty face.

I worry about you Kos, I was thinking about you today on my long drive.
You are one crazy girl. Stay safe and be smart, don't trust guys, god speed.

Aha I see what you did now. You are priming this forum to be a place for music equipment discussion. If I have figured you out, you MAMBONI.... You will threaten to leave if any discussion turns to financial collapse, Zionism, survival prep, etc...

Some people just have no shame in their brains! ;D ;D

The bass is incredibly fast and tuneful - the cabinet tuning is so spot on perfect that I get goose bumps hearing low bass quitar sixteenth notes tripping so nimble and clean and perfectly articulated that I never cease to marvel at it. I'm hearing a lot more in familiar recordings, much more presence and all the interstices and low level happening that I never heard before. The vocals are just perfect - so lifelike and natural, vivid and startling.

Yo Mamboni! His system gets him laid way more then your Walsh fruity tooters ever could. You been dipping into the ophthalmic-grade benzoylmethylecgonine again?

:D

i like the combination of hardware review and "i'm outta here" spiel (of course preferring you would stay.)

but - in case you take requests - how about reviewing a quad-core laptop with an 18" screen - or a Lamborghini Countach - in your next "out here" post ?
