Wouldn't it be fantastic if some enterprising hackers did this with judges, bankers or politicos instead of celebrities? Maybe the TMZ-ification of the US will have some unintended consequences.

Murdoch Reporters’ Phone-Hacking Was Endemic, Victimized Hundreds (http://www.wired.com/threatlevel/2010/09/murdoch-phone-hacking/)

According to the N.Y. Times, reporters working under Coulson targeted hundreds of victims — from Princes Harry and William to government and police officials and numerous celebrities, including soccer star David Beckham and his wife.

Most of the victims are only now learning that their phone voicemail accounts may have been accessed by reporters, four years after the investigation first launched. One young woman, who had previously been the victim in a high-profile sexual-assault case when she was 19, only recently received a letter confirming that her phone number was on a list of potential hack targets kept by News of the World employees.

Like father like daughter. Still some growing up to do (learn to better spin a lie). ;D

Celeb host names wrong winner in Aussie Next Top Model finale (http://www.vancouversun.com/Just+shoot+Celeb+host+names+wrong+winner+Aussie+Ne xt+Model+finale+video/3591183/story.html#ixzz10qpZ7lz5)

Sarah Murdoch, host of Australia's Next Top Model, pretty much melted down at the show finale after she named Kelsey Martinovich the winner.

Trouble was, Kelsey lost.

After much jubilation among Kelsey supporters in the audience, the promise of a $20,0000 prize and a lavish spread in Harpers Bazaar, Murdoch, daughter-in-law of mega-industrialist Rupert Murdoch, fessed up.

"I'm so sorry, oh my god, I don't know what to say. This is a complete accident, I'm so sorry," she told the stunned audience.

"It was fed to me wrong.

"This is what happens when you have live TV folks, this is insane, insane, insane."

The real winner was Queensland beauty Amanda Ware.
