Connection Problems, several times thruought the day, for 1-3 minutes. >:( >:( >:(
Please pony up some money and buy a decent server. This one is the bargain basement crap one that only works when you don't need it. You get what you pay for. :oo--> :oo--> :oo-->

I was going to add that the server froze up for 5 fvcking minutes in the middle of posting this.
I can't take this crap anymore. It happens on my home PC and my work PC. This server is crap and I hope you aren't paying for this non-service.
Bye all. See ya' on the other side of the gold bull market.

I've been having issues with the site today as well. Downtime lasts more than the usual 10-30 seconds I usually experience.

Could someone bring me up to date here? Have the site custodians yet acknowledged that the root issue is that a beefier server is needed?
If so, could one of them please step forward and start a donation thread?

I've been following the server comments & complaints and appropriately forwarding them to the site owner. JQP tried un-linking the chat option to the forum in an attempt to see if that might be a reason for the slow service. I don't think that's it though; I've been having server trouble today as well and I tend to agree with mamboni that this forum software we're running and the server hosts are just low quality. I know someone (I think Ponce) already started a donations thread, so let me run it by JQP to see what kind of money we need to get our badly needed upgrade.

Please see this thread. I did do much more than remove tinychat.

How about we stop assuming that we know what's wrong even though the people who run the equipment don't? No you don't always get what you pay for. Sometimes you just waste your funds because you thought you knew something when you didn't.
