Segment 2: Off the Charts

Cramer looked at the charts of the Gold ETF (GLD) and the Silver ETF (SLV) because he said that they have both been performing well, but it looks like SLV is breaking out to the upside. He pointed out that SLV broke through resistance at $19, has consistent support at the 40 week moving average, and has tightening Bollinger Bands that indicate that a breakout could be coming when volatility increases. He said that technical analysts think that the ETF could go up $5 to $24. Cramer added that he agrees with this analysis, because he likes SLV better than GLD right now because it is a play on economic recovery instead of economic insecurity. He ended by saying that he doesn't want you to buy any silver mining stocks, and to stick with the SLV.

Like sheep know the dam difference

But enough of them buying in unison can slam the price

I have seen stocks move a full five points cause this prick opened his piehole.

I am still reading sheeple forums where they still don't "get it". With the amount of risk out there - there is not nearly enough downside to worry about it for a physical stacker - trader, maybe but the technical are looking stronger than ever.

There still might be a shakeout or two left. But FEAR is here and ain't going away anytime soon.

I pine for the day when the viligence of the physical stacker will be handsomely rewarded.

Can you pinpoint the spot on the chart where SLV was created?

You ain't got 500 ounces of nuthin! Just remember that and you'll be fine.

Need a new tractor? Employ your mind to be creative and it will find a way without messing with the nuthin you don't got. Got it?

On the other hand.... if Cramer is saying to invest in silver, it might be a good time to sell- temporarily. I think the risk is greater that most things will drop to lesser values- and that is triple for paper.

That would be at the low Around 2005!
Amazingly SLV Supposedly vacumed the market of around 3-400 millions of ounces since then, and the available inventory of silver has skyrocketed at the same time! Of course my theory is that SLV didn't buy much of physical silver apart from a minute amount for window dressing, and a lot of the so called available inventory of silver is actually SLV paper, pledged as physical silver...

Thank you so much for reminding me! Kraemer is out shopping for bag holders. If any of you who are reading this still holds anything in SLV after a week you are bloody fools!

The recent uptick in inventories is the SLV, which is a bullshit illusion by the money masters...
Friends don't let friends buy the SLV or GLD.

a few months ago Erik King & one of his interviewees were talking about a junior mining company. King owned 1%, the guy he was talking to owned 20%.

in the 24 hours after the interview, the stock jumped 50% plus.

i guess they call that "talking your own book" ?

on the other hand, it might have been a good company and obviously that's what they do on KWN, talk about mining stocks etc.

Dude, I've given up on trying to get people to "wake up". I've talked about buying physical gold/silver to a guy at my job who literally made a million in the stock market. He's like, "no, I'll just hold on to my stocks, they'll go up again sometime" I might hold on to some of them, but might drop a couple hundred thousand on some bars.

I pine for the day when the viligence of the physical stacker will be handsomely rewarded.

Delivering SLV shares instead of a 1000 ounce silver bar at Comex, will become a nightmare for those who needs silver.

Cramer mentioning silver = The kiss of death for silver? I hope not. It sounds like Cramer is making an attempt to interfere with my gut feeling prediction on silver. I am expecting silver to finish at $23 (or more) on December 31, 2010. ;D

If physical silver is in short supply, and is SLV really is a vehicle for actually assisting the silver price suppression scheme, then it makes perfect sense for Cramer to pump SLV right now, doesn't it?

Physical is the real McCoy - let those late to the party dream about it and let those who were smart enough to see it three years ago or earlier just laugh. Paper ANYTHING will be worthless. Cramer will be lighting his stove with SLV like everyone else.

I very much doubt that Kraemer had bought any Bear Stern, the days before it collapsed and he recommended it. He might have bought a few thousand ounces of real Silver though.

Unless you are a real bigggggggggggg trader, and with contacts, it does not pay to sell and then buy back your silver because in the sell-buy-sell-buy-sell-buy situation you will loose to much money.

Remember......."If you don't hold it, you don't own it"... Ponce

If I were to sell then buy everytime someone were to say something then the back of my property would look like if a mine field had exploded.........but instead I sit here and smile ;D
