Here's my Pointer (English) puppy at 11 1/2 weeks.
This dog has the sweetest disposition I've seen, and is very smart.
She is a real lover!

A couple hours ago we had our first egg!
Not bad for a first.

Growing up my grand parents had a chicken yard, it was brown yard eggs for years, grew up on 'em....occaisonally you'd get a double yoke, we always thought that meant good luck :D

She is an English Pointer, but they are just called Pointers now.
Not to be confused with German Short Hair pointers which are a different breed.
Her name is Macy.

How can you not love these animals with their different personalities, innocence, unconditional love and devotion to their humans.

Like I've said, they spelled their name backwards to keep you from figuring out who they really are.

What a great looking dog.

We run 26 1/2 couple foxhunting in Ohio. Great heart and spirit those foxhounds, particularly the English version.

Oh I know who they really are. ;D Before I got to your post, I said "I love that one,and I love that one, and I love that one." I don't know how anyone can live without the love of a dog in their lives. Mine are small, so I had to have four of them. ;)

Looks like the typical Fox Hound, there is another version, the Treeing Walker Hound,
a little leaner with longer legs, in USA, the Fox Hound goes way back,
Walker brought it to the USA for the colonies, the new US one was bred.
Learned about all of this online.

He is about 6 months there and takes after his mom, his dad was bulkier.
Saw both personally, pure breds. They are cute, look like beagles, very
friendly and even dangerous, mine chases coyotes and even killed one,
jumps like a cat at this age, you really got to watch him carefully around
other dogs, some with the wild look, recently he has become more aggressive
to dogs that bark at him first, they do not make good pets, they are
very high maintenance, they are outdoor dogs, very aggressive and hyper.
He ain't snipped either. I can't imagine what running a pack of them would
be like. lol

That pointer and other dogs related to hounds are very similar.

HA HA ! He is guarding the catch. Great photo.

Reminds me of stuff.

Hounds are hard heads, they are programmed, once on, that's it.

Not even 12 weeks I don't think.
