October surprise - what will it be?

I was wondering about the inevitable "October Surprise." With housing beyond crisis levels, true unemployment easily over 20%, and a runaway legislative branch in the hands of corporations and foreign powers, what will the Plutocracy do? Will they do anything? Will they bomb Iran? Does the tea party represent anything but a free ride for Democrats in November? Curious to know what people think is this year's Halloween card from our ruling criminals....

I'm pretty stumped - none of the obvious stuff will move the needle -

1) George Bush internal memo leaked - maybe something about Iraq and WMD - don't see this energizing the Dem base
2) Tax cuts - sorry dude, the Tea Party has this issue under lock
3) Sex scandal - A "family values" Congress Critter/Senator caught porking lambs might impact one election, but unless they've got a video of the entire GOP in a group orgy with George Micheal there ain't much there.
4) Bomb someone - yep right out of "Wag the dog" - worked for Bill, but he had the press in his pocket and everyone wanted to not talk about Monica. For Barry, it won't fly - starting a conflict won't energize his base and will further diminish his standing in the "Global Hate Amerika" group
5) Bribe everyone (via TARP IV or whatever) - same as tax cuts - financial responsibility is the meme - another Bush drug handout won't fly in Congress.
6) Replace Supreme Court Justice(s) - Breyer and Ginsburg's departure under a Republican controlled Senate would be a nightmare for the left (a 3-4-2 mix of right/center/left) - the fear of losing two more ultra-left justices could get folks energized, but even here on the left coast "Abortion" just isn't getting traction.


Bottom line, I do not see what will be effective - not that ineffective and/or self destructive moves by Mr Soetoro's adopted son are anything new.
