Another Friday arrives -

A great comment from MNEagle that since the election season is upon us, Barry has a vested interest in keeping bad news away (just like every other President).

This could be a contributing reason why the FDIC continues the anemic performance (though one should never discount incompetence).

The miserly 1 bank closed last week was gobbled up by an Arkansas institution - odd that a local bank would jump state lines to become regional - possibly the "Arkansas Mafia" is involved.
l
Last week saw another skunkage - I'm personally having my tinfoil hat re-calibrated and will rely on my grandmother's blind Chihuahua this week in the hopes of being more accurate.

How many will go down this week? Get your picks in by Friday 5 pm EDT and for the Ruprick choose a state to be "honored".

One can follow along at:

Good Luck!

I'm guessing that there'll be 3-4 bank failures.

I'm going with 3-4 banks to fail, and Georgia for the win.

Since the last 3 weeks were "lower than expected", then I will predict 7-8 bank failures for today and the powerball state is Georgia. The gov't is good at slipping up at something. ;D

Crap!

The time I go with that stupid Chihuahua and I'm totally off!

6 looks to be the count well done!

Hugginator scores the win with 6 and FL (again, picking FL is like saying the black guy gets killed first in a horror movie)!

Plastic a solid second - 6 without a Ruprick!

Well done all! As the silliness of Nov 2 approaches things will get more weird!
