Wait a minute, hold the 'phone! Is this the same Ponce who never has a problem surfing GSUS and in his spare time walks on water? :oo-->

Yeah, me too. I had the same problem at my Yahoo mail box, and also at the other forum where I hang out, and at my joke archive site. Typical day. BTW, I found THIS (http://www.akamai.com/html/technology/visualizing_akamai.html) internet monitor and it show huge latency numbers at five places in the USA. I wonder if that has anything to do with the slowdowns?

That very well may affect it, but if so, why does the main page always load fast? It's coming off the same server isn't it?
i.e. remove /forum/whatever and it loads fast. Add /forum back on and it's hit and miss.

For anyone reading this, when you see it not load go see if the main page still works or not.

main page probably loading quickly from local cache?

site overall has been excellent for me, although the web in general has been slow for the past 24-36 hours.

Ok. Clear your cache and then try it.
One other thing I've noticed is that you can ping this place all day long and hardly ever drop a packet. Time averages about 54ms
Meanwhile, "page cannot be displayed" pops up in the browser. ::)

Also, why is it that when I can't get a page to load, it'll register every click to the thanks button?
Like I just did with this post here. (http://gold-silver.us/forum/general-discussion/if-the-muzzies-didn't-do-911-then-why-don't-they-say-that/msg109012/#msg109012)

While typing this very post I clicked "preview" to proof read it and when I saw it get stuck on "fetching preview" I switched tabs and just for the heck of it clicked the thanks button a bunch of times just to see if it would work.

I look at doing that as a form of cheap entertainment while waiting for the site to get its sh!t together.

So it seems as though it "hears" just fine, but can't seem to answer back so well.
