I don't know much about this candidate as I live on the east coast, but the use of the wizard of oz theme is interesting. The guy supposedly supports the constitution. I wonder if he has thoughts on a bimetallic standard?

The candidate is a lock in one of the most Democratically-owned districts in America. Here in San Francisco the electorate is a basket of currencies - gays, lesbians, communists, Catholics, blacks, Jews, you name it. The lowly middle and upper class doesn't seem to be a large voting bloc and around here people are politically motivated for all kinds of reasons. Mostly because they view Pelosi as a champion of socialism. They all think it's going to be gay marriage, Mexicans getting citizenship, and stay busy, stay out of jail work for the inner city. Pelosi's health care push has everyone out here giddy with anticipation, not realizing they're getting screwed (although here that's almost a compliment). Obama's real popular here too - black guy makes good. That's the kind of political snake pit that makes up her constituents.
