intraday high on March 17, 2008 was $21.36. $20.92 as i type. a close above that previous high should be interesting.

I think that silver will finish above $21.00 at the end of today (Monday, September 20, 2010).

FOMC are due to meet tomorrow. history suggests it not unlikely that they'll try to put a damper on PMs running into that, but certainly a new high (for the current bull market) by the end of the week seems a strong possibility at the moment.

Oops!!!! Looks like I was wrong today. It finished at $20.73. Bummer..........
I still think that silver will close above $21/oz by the close of business on Friday (September, 24, 2010).

i agree.
unless the stock market Dow falls back below 10K or something else happens to induce profit taking in the metals markets.
also options expiry is the 27th and 28th this month, which i think is Monday & Tuesday next week.
= volatility.

If the dow can hold 10600, 11000 will be not to far behind and knocking on 12000. Good excuse to sell tomorrow around 2:00 . Will be curious at to closing numbers at the end of the day.
