The control-freak politicians and their cronies have already implemented a gold tax, more governmental surveillance of the financial industry, and more limitations on financial transactions.

More oppressive laws and regulations will be implemented by either unelected bureaucrats or by secretly inserting these unknown laws into bills which most politicians never read entirely.

the government is going to eventually levy a 90% tax rate, or something draconian, on gold and silver sales. it'll be presented as a class war. only the very rich have PMs, so we need to tax them at 80 or 90%.

i know for a fact this conversation has already taken place in high circles, as i have a PM dealer friend who was personally told this during the 1980s run-up by a state senator. the run-up fizzled out, but this was all set to be put in place back then if it continued.

BTW I agree with most of what Schiff says. The gov't is just going to continue to destroy the value of the dollar with its deficit spending. Unfortunately, people are going to continue to not listen to him and they will just label him as a kook.

Kudos to the interviewer. He asked simple, but pointed questions that Joe and Jane six pack could understand and more importantly, he allowed Schiff to give rather lengthy answers without interuption. It was one of the best interviews of Schiff I have ever seen.


This was also one of the few interviews that I have seen where Schiff was by himself instead of being with 2 or 3 other guests. Every time that Schiff is with 2 to 3 other guests, then Schiff's message will not get completely heard because the other guests are so busy shouting him down with their disagreements or making fun of him. Yep this was a very good interview in my opinion.

A lot of people delude themselves into believing that there will be some sort of "implosion" which will leave a power vacuum. There is never a power vacuum. Anytime there is any potential power (over the masses) to be had, it is immediately siezed in advance by TPTB.
A financial collapse will most certainly come with more government control and large steps in the direction of world government, all of which teevee will manufacture our consent for.
