View Full Version : Lest we forget

I wanted to take pause for a few moments and think about absent friends. It's been hectic around here these last few days and while it's important with what is going on I feel like somethings have slipped by the wayside.

From the 1 to the 2 to the US we have lost some wonderful people. People who had good ideals and incredible integrity. Some have made there way here and some have lost their way and of course some could not be here with us. We are fortunate that many are with us and some have become strong parts of the community that this forum represents.

For those who know the history I'm sure you all know who I am talking about. My thoughts are particularly with you Zap as I know from what I read on the forum are the thoughts of many others. I'm glad you joined us and I'm amazed at what you have been able to achieve.

Nub was one man with a whole lot of humanity. There are many more out there, men and women, and I'd like to think of them all for a moment. When people leave us they live on in our hearts. Keep them warm and cherish them always.

Glass,

Your post deserves "sticky" status. Let it serve as a statement about treating each other with common decency. Even the trolls and shills can be disarmed if one can remain the observer and overrule emotion.

Thank you.

Thank you Glass and thank all of you here on GSUS for the kind words, and putting up with my craziness.

Everyone here comes from different walks of life, and yet everyone brings something to the table.

It has been a hard year for all of us, and I am sure there will be many, many more to come, all any of us can do is try to learn from each other, fight hard, and plow forward, so hopefully we come out a little better on the other side. |--0--|
