I remember Canroys and oil sands were the hot topic at old GIM a few years ago.

Anybody still own the shares?

I heard rumors here and there (like investor conferences) that the pensioners who traditionally owned a lot of Canroys now are piling up into bonds like lemmings.

someone said that the ratio of money invested bonds to stock is currently 10:1

whatever garbage China gets rids of gets gobbled by our pensioners

so many still seem to think bonds are a safe place to keep money

expect them to be rescued by the taxpayers

Got absolutely clobbered with the CanRoy's...they collapsed to about a 1/4 of the high. They've come back some, but still lagging...dividends were cut also.

I thought the laws concerning taxation of canroys had changed and thus they were less desirable.
